Family: Married to the exquisite and beautiful Karina Barraza-Branham. Father to a little charmer named Jade!

What I do at church: I am in charge of a Program we call the BUZZ.  The BUZZ is program we slot between our two services where kids bring their parents to church. I am in charge of pulling all the different elements of this program together.

Education: BA Biblical Literature. The MA, MFC, LPC are, how do you say, "in Continuum" or on hold for now.

How I Got Here: I was stuck in I35 Traffic whilst driving thru Austin, I thought this is crazy, I am glad I don't live here. Went home got married and moved back.

Hobbies and Interests: drumming, driving, music, anything Cuban,  and the art of taking it easy.

Favorite Book, Movie, TV Show:
Books- I like short stories, Add you know so I like David Sedaris and Garrison Kiellor, if I am going to be forced to read. I like word search puzzles and sometimes you can get a whole book of those. Would that count?
Movie- Buena Vista Social Club.
TV Show- Top Gear, and anything Cuban.

What I listen to: Black Keys, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Back Mountain, Black Angels, and anything Cuban.

Favorite Bible Character You Most Identify with: Timothy, I feel like I will always be learning.

Favorite Toy growing up: My drums. I would play for hours every day. Hot wheels. At one time, I had 376. I went to great lengths to customize them, taking the carelessly applied graphics off with fingernail polish remover, and repainting headlights and tail lights with a real Sable hair pen striping brush. Note I still have the brush.

Favorite Sports Team: I like the colors from the Houston Oilers but then someone told me that they kind of changed colors and names and states, I had no idea.

Favorite Pet Growing Up: My cat was killer, His name was Turbo. He would run at what was thought to be swiftly then just take off as if boosted by turbo.
