Curt organizes administrative activities and works to make Community Groups a success!

Family: Dawn and I met at North Central University in Minneapolis, MN and have been blissfully married since 2000. Our lives changed and improved when our son Jackson was born in 2006. And we have a peki-poo named Bailey who looks like a bright, white Ewok.

What I do at church: I focus primarily on the development of small groups and their leaders. But I do a lot of what needs to be done and make sure things are running smoothly.

Education: I have a BA in Pastoral Studies (Scriptural Study, Theology & Practical Ministry) from North Central University in Mpls, MN

How I Got Here: A good friend of mine in Dallas met Anthony in the midst of SWFF’s search for a Sr. Associate Pastor. My friend thought Anthony and I might click so he set up a phone meeting. 5 months later my family moved to Austin, TX to work at SWFF.

Hobbies and Interests: Cooking, finding new cafes, movies, reading, and baseball

Favorite Book, Movie, TV Show: Favorite book that I've recently read is...The Great Divorce by C.S. Lewis.  Favorite movies that I've recently seen are...Up, The Darjeeling Limited, The Dark Knight.  Favorite TV shows that I've recently watched are: Battlestar Galactica, Community, The Office, and Parenthood.

What I listen to: Album I can't stop listening to: Greycoats: Setting Fire to the Great Unknown.  Radio I can't stop listening to: Austin's NPR station - KUT

Favorite Bible Character You Most Identify with: The wise men…for obvious reasons. Ha Ha. But seriously folks – Nehemiah. He was passionate about rebuilding and restoring the faith of his people as literal structures were rebuilt. I love the practical side of his faith.

Favorite Toy growing up: I had too many so here are the top 3: the General Lee toy car from Dukes of Hazzard, G.I. Joe figures, and baseball cards

Favorite Sports Team: Milwaukee Brewers
